Testing wordpress 2 Ping

In an attempt to do more by doing less, I found the WP plugin: WordPress 2 Ping, which uses Ping.fm to send blog posts from WordPress to a variety of other sites. I have other plugins sending notifications about my posts to Twitter and Facebook, but nothing for Myspace. This plugin promises to rectify that for me.

So, I’ve installed and activated the plugin, I’ve signed up on ping.fm, I’ve linked (“hooked in”) my myspace account, I’ve set the plugin options to just include general, cool stuff, music, and music mondays categories. Now it’s time to click ‘publish’ on this post and see if it works as it says on the box….

Update: Not for me it doesn’t … Will try ‘Socialite’ if my wordpress installation has cURL (which it needs) – but won’t know tat till next week
