How can YouTube uploads be so slow???

Unless I’m totally confused, there’s something very screwy with YouTube lately. My video uploads take aaaaaages. So long in fact that I get repeated fail. I guess there’s not just YouTube involved, so I checked my end with SpeedTest. According to multiple tests using different servers, I have an upload speed around 0.85 Mb/s. That’s 0.1...
