A new thing to me – well, nice gardens are, at any rate. Last year our roses were a bit sad, with blackspot, aphids, two plants not blooming at all …

This year I’m more on top of things, and I gave them a good prune, and we fed and sprayed them properly, and now, as spring gets going, the roses are beginning to look good 8)

I planted our new weeping cherry tree yesterday, and was hoping that we might get flowers this year – even though the cherry trees up the road have been in bloom for a fair while now.

Well, I just had a butcher’s at it today and saw a whole heap of little buds starting to open out! To my simple mind that would imply w1n – otherwise known as: it’s gonna flower soon! ^_^
